Ratboy [usuario nuevo] Mensajes - posts : 3	Luminaire - Kilburn, London I've been waiting to see Dover play live for so long now and last night I finally did. The whole night was even better than expected. I rode for an hour to get there on my motorbike in the hot English sun with sweat on my brow, adrenalin in my veins, and Rock in my heart. I arrived a little early and went into the pub next door for a quick beer. Guess who else was there? Yeah, it was Dover! I saw Amparo at the bar so I said hello to her and we talked a bit about the gig and how happy I was to see them here in England. She introduced me to the rest of the band and they were all really, really great. I love Spanish people and was happy to see that they were very down to earth, modest, friendly people. Well, the gig...first of all there were two other bands playing before Dover - one from Wales and one from Holland (Adzuki and Voicst). Then Dover played - Cristina, Amparo, Jesus, and the 'new' bass player - Sam. They ROCKED and really gave everything to the relatively small, but excited audience. I met some other Spanish fans and we stood right in front of the stage, moshing and singing and shouting and clapping. It was the most invigorating gig I've been to in a long time and I can't wait to see them again in this lifetime. I forgot to pick up the set list, but with songs old and new, the mix was excellent and the crowd were not disappointed. Next time I go to Madrid, I will definitely get in touch with the band and visit them in Lavapiez for a good drink. They are all brilliant! I'm really considering going to Madrid in September before I go back to uni to see them a couple of times there instead..if I can convince someone to go with me! I've still never seen them at all
